Suwit a man who came from Ngawi (Indonesia) to make shadow puppets to survive, and preserve cultural heritage ....

Puppet Crafts based on animal skins of cows and goats in the village of Dumplengan, Pitu District Ngawi regency, East Java, still survive, but interest in these traditional arts community to decrease.

However,
people declining interest, especially the younger generation against the art of traditional dolls, do not lose the spirit of one of his puppet craftsmen, Suwit, Dumplengan villagers to continue to produce this play of shadows.

"I continue this work has been since the 1980s. And even now is still running, although the order was not as busy as before," said Suwit, Monday.
